We visited the wonderful and merry Universal Holiday Tribute Store at Universal Studios Florida on opening day—check it out!
Earlier this year, Universal Studios Florida debuted a new store dedicated to all things Halloween Horror Nights. Since the typical event would’t take place, guests could visit this spot any time of the day to buy merchandise and see exclusive props from sets like Beetlejuice and more!
For Holiday 2020, Universal changed over this spot to fit the occasion. The large store is located in New York, between the Jimmy Fallon and Mummy rides. To easily find it, guests just need to look for a giant Christmas tree and then a flat nutcracker facade. Though the outside looks a bit plain, the inside really comes to life with holiday magic!
The Holiday Tribute store is filled with decorations from tinsel and garland to giant-sized nutcrackers! Guests can purchase new merchandise here themed after the holidays. It’s an excellent place to find gifts and whimsical things to decorate your home with.
We loved the Grinch section with stringed lights and Seussian-style stockings. Each room in the Tribute Store seems to have a very different theme than the last. The gifts in the front room were assorted, but the Grinchmas room was all Dr. Seuss!
The next room was the most surprising to us! The spaces seem to change from the classic holiday decor and plunge into the magic of the Wizarding World. This black-walled room had gifts like Hogwarts house scarves and knitted caps. The displays were beautifully crafted as of they were pulled right out of Hogsmeade!
Just before leaving, we saw all of Santa’s favorite treats. Cookies, brownies, and unique creations lined the shelves. It was like being inside of a snowy holiday cake store in the middle of December!
