The Universal Orlando Resort updated its mask policy for Team Members to wear face coverings by the end of July 2021.

Masks requirements are back at the Universal Orlando Resort but only for employees. Starting July 31, 2021, Universal Team Members must wear masks when indoors. For now, the policy does not extend to guests.

The Walt Disney World Resort resumes its mask policy for visitors beginning July 30. All guests, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a face covering while indoors. However, it appears that Universal Orlando is not adopting the same policy. Instead, the theme park resort is heavily encouraging guests to put on face coverings while inside.
