Masks to be required again at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and the Disneyland Resort in California for all guests while they are indoors.

Disney will require masks again at Disneyland and Disney World. Beginning July 30, all guests—regardless of vaccination status—must wear a face coverings while indoors. The rule also applies to guests taking Disney transport.

The mask requirement returns as Covid-19 cases surge around the U.S. Florida reported tens of thousands of new cases this week. The CDC then issued new guidelines urging that all people wear masks even if they are fully vaccinated. The delta variant has been traced to the rapid spread throughout the country this summer.

The U.S. Disney Parks stopped requiring masks earlier in June as vaccinations became widely available. The company will follow both local, state, and federal guidelines when it comes to face covering requirements.

According to the new rules, guests should still be able to walk around the parks without masks.
