We check out photos of Epcot 2021 park updates from above! See the new Leave a Legacy Pillars and more attractions coming soon.
Earlier this month, we unveiled The Soul of Jazz, Epcot’s first new music-inspired attraction in the American Pavilion. Now we’re here to discuss what’s new—starting today—at the world famous theme park! With fresh attractions, special features, and tons of construction, there’s plenty to explore.
As seen above, guests can check out the new Leave a Legacy Pillars near Epcot. These colorfully redesigned murals have the same etchings found in the previous Leave a Legacy monuments that were once housed near Spaceship Earth. Guests can find these pillars located just outside of Epcot’s main entrance.
Guests originally placed their photos on these monuments to commemorate the new millennium in the year 2000. Though the previous pillars were controversial in appearance, we think the update is stunning. If you have a photo you’d like to find, simply scan the QR code and you’ll be able to easily locate your photo on the new monument.
In this aerial, we can see massive black structures in the World Showcase Lagoon. These are to house the new nighttime spectacular, Harmonius, coming soon to Epcot. While we don’t have a debut date, it’s expected to open either Spring or Summer 2021.
Also pictures is the Ratatouille ride all the way to the left in the France pavilion (it’s hard to see in this photo, but it’s there). We expect this exciting attraction to open any day now. We’ll, of course, keep you posted!

Finally, here’s a great above shot of the construction happening in the center of Future World. Much of the Innoventions building has been demolished and pathways are being recreated. A new Moana-themed water attraction and several other areas will debut here. Furthermore, you can see updated to the Guardians of the Galaxy coaster which is expected to debut in 2022.
