The Disneyland Resort is set to reopen on April 30th but when will theme park tickets and reservations go on sale?
After over a year of closures, the Disneyland theme parks will finally open at the end of April! Guests will be welcome back into the Happiest Place on Earth for rides, snacks, and new entertainment. So when will Disneyland officially start selling theme park tickets again?
So far, Disneyland has not released ticket sales dates or pricing. However, we do expect that Disneyland will announce theme park ticket dates before they go on sale. Meaning, it likely won’t be a random surprise in the middle of the night. Then again, anything is possible! In addition to theme park tickets, guests will also need a reservation to get into the parks. We’re not sure how Disneyland will do this process. It could be similar to Walt Disney World where a guest needs a ticket first and the choose a reservation date once the ticket is placed on their account. Only time will tell how Disneyland chooses to do this process.

When Disneyland reopens, only those who live in California will have access to the theme park. Capacity will likely start off at 15% and increase once the county moves through California’s tier system. The next tier, orange, allows Disneyland’s capacity to increase to 25%.
