We dive into when Disney may stop requiring guests to wear masks at Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort.
This week, Disney covered its expectations for guests wearing mask in the theme parks. In a call on Thursday, Disney CEO Bob Chapek stated that social distancing guidelines and the wearing of facial mask will continue. But when can we expect these rules to end?
Chapek stated that Disney expects to enforce the mask rule through the end of 2021. Which, depending on the state of things, could mean that masks are no longer required for 2022 visits. However, it’s important to note that this is not a definite date, just an estimation. Disney will continue to follow CDC guidelines for social distancing and wearing of facial coverings until updated by the government.
