The new trailer for Universal Orlando’s upcoming Jurassic World VelociCoaster has arrived! Get ready to scream!
Last week, Universal Orlando quietly announced its upcoming Jurassic World VelociCoaster and then abruptly took down its post. However, we now have images and a video trailer for the amazing new ride.
The VelociCoaster will debut in Summer 2021 at the Universal Orlando Resort’s Islands of Adventure theme park. Though it’s been under construction for quite some time, Universal dragged out the announcement date. Now we have details about this dino-sized thrill ride.
Universal posted, “Two intense launches. Four inversions. Feel the rush of the hunt as you race through the jungle alongside Velociraptors on the Jurassic World VelociCoaster.” In other words, the Jurassic World VelociCoaster will have four loops and two separate launch points throughout the ride! The video shows exciting sequences as the coaster zips through rock formations and near screaming raptors. Guests even launch out of a raptor pen before descending on the island!

The night shot of the coaster is our favorite. You can see how it fits in beautifully to the dazzling theme park. Though some of it will be visible from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, we expect that trees and walls could help keep the lands distinctly apart.
