The Walt Disney World Resort will close from Saturday, March 14, 2020 through the end of the month. However, the hotels and Disney Springs will remain open until further notice.

The news comes shortly Disneyland announced its park closures for the same dates. Disney will closely monitor health updates to determine if the parks should remain close.

As we’ve said with the Disneyland Resort closure, we’re saddened by this news. However, we do feel that Disney is taking the right steps. Preventing the spread of the disease is vital to keeping everyone safe and healthy.

Disneyland Paris will also close its parks for the rest of March. After this weekend, all twelve Disney theme parks worldwide will be closed for the first time ever.

We plan to continue updating our blog and newsletter with helpful information for your next trip, whenever that may be. Hopefully, these measures will ensure that Disney parks quickly reopen.
