Universal Studios Hollywood is reopening its gates on April 16th to the general public and with scheduled dates for its current annual passholders.
Universal’s original theme park in Hollywood will soon welcome back guests. Within the “Entertainment Capital of the World” Universal Studios Hollywood is a popular theme park destination in the Los Angeles. Guests come for attractions like The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and a real-life movie studio production tour.
New attractions including The Secret Life of Pets will reopen with the park! This ride did not get a chance to open when the parks closed over a year ago. In addition, a new Indominus Rex animatronic has been added to Jurassic World: The Ride (the previous one had several operational issues).
Like Disneyland, Universal Studios reopens under stricter California theme park guidelines. Guests limits start at 15% (or 25% depending the county tier when the park opens) and social distancing measures will be in place. Additionally, only California residents will be welcome back until further notice. All visiting guests must wear facial coverings unless eating or drinking.
