The Universal Orlando Resort is closing its theme parks due to the coronavirus, COVID-19. Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure will close Sunday, March 15, 2020 through the end of the month.
However, Universal also alludes that extensions could take place. As the Resort continues to evaluate the threats of the spreading virus.
At this time, the Universal Orlando Resort hotels and Universal CityWalk are scheduled to remain open. If you’ve book a vacation, contact Universal at 877-801-9720 to explore options.
The new follows after the Disneyland Resort in California decided to close for the remainder of the month. The Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida also followed.
