The Universal Orlando Resort is rolling out two new scary haunted houses for guests visiting Universal Studios Florida in 2020!
Halloween Horror Nights was cancelled for 2020, but that won’t stop the scares. Universal Studios Florida will roll out two all-new scare mazes for visiting guests this year!
Universal Monsters: The Bride of Frankenstein Lives and Revenge of the Tooth Fairy are two new houses for 2020. While the names may not sound too scary, the original Universal houses are usually the best! After annual passholders experienced sneak previews last weekend, Revenge of the Tooth Fairy appears to be the top choice.
Universal Studios Florida’s haunted houses run from Sept. 26-27 and Oct. 3-Nov. 1. Social distancing and other health measures, including a mandatory face covering, are required. Scare actors also appear to be behind barriers and/or wearing proper facial coverings. Additionally, the Virtual Line experience is available for free via the Universal Orlando app.

Instead of hosting these “haunted houses” during an extra paid ticketed event, all visiting guests to the Universal Studios Florida theme park are welcome to experience them. However, we do warn that these mazes are quite scary and gory. In other words, we don’t recommend them for kids under 13 years old.
At this time, there are no houses for Islands of Adventure. Additionally, Universal is allowing guests to wearing costumes. All costumes must be family-friendly, and you cannot wear a mask that covers the entire face. For more costume guidelines, visit here.
