The Cheapest Days to Visit Disneyland

With ticket prices going up every year, we answer what are the cheapest days to visit Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.

Cheapest Days Disneyland

The Disneyland Resort has a 5-tier ticketing system, each with a different price point. Adult prices range from $104 to $154 for a one-day park ticket. However, if you’re planning on visiting both theme parks in a day, one-day park hopper tickets go from $159 to $209.

So, what are the cheapest days to visit Disneyland? To get the best price, you want to visit on a weekday in January, February, May, September, or November. Of course, there are exceptions. For example, the first week of December is usually less expensive. You may see tier 2 ($114) or tier 3 ($124) levels for those dates. Also, the first two weeks of March and last week of April (as long as they are far enough from Easter), are usually less expensive.

Ticket prices are also lowered when you purchase multi-day tickets. The best deals are for 3-5 days, where you can pay as little as $72 a day.

Disneyland bases its ticket price on crowd sizes. According to the company, they lower ticket prices during the week to spread out the crowds. Therefore, avoid all Saturdays and holiday weekends like Memorial Day, Presidents’ Day, Labor Day, and any time near spring breaks or Christmas. Those dates have the highest ticket prices by far.
