We review the quietest Walt Disney World Resort hotel, Disney’s Saratoga Springs.

Many families stress that their Walt Disney World Resort vacation will be… well… stressful. After all, these vacations often involve long travel, miles of walking, and even more preplanning. So, what is the best option for relaxing during your trip?

Our recent stay at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort uncovered why this is the quietest, most relaxing resort of them all. Built in 2014, this 65-acre Disney Vacation Club Resort is home to golf courses, lush surroundings, serene walking paths, expansive pools, dining, and a full-service spa. Saratoga Springs truly is a sweet escape for your Disney stay.

As it’s a deluxe resort, the cast members are incredibly accommodating. Everywhere we went, cast members and other guests greeted us with warm smiles. Even the golfers on the courses seemed happy to be there.

If you’re a golfer, you can take your skills to the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course. Golf carts are included with the greens fee, and you can select a course of your desire. For booking, visit here.

However, our favorite part about Saratoga is its closeness to the Disney Springs shopping district. Guests can hop on a boat or take a 15-minute walk to Disney Springs. The shopping area is filled with dining, unique stores, and entertainment for the entire family. There’s also an enormous AMC Theatres with updated seating – perfect for relaxing while you watch a new flick.

If you feel like staying in for the day, order room service, or cook for yourself. Since Saratoga Springs is a Disney Vacation Club Resort, each villa room has a kitchen. The studios have smaller kitchenettes (microwaves, but no stove), but the larger rooms have full-sized kitchens. It’s also a great option for those looking to save money.

The Senses Spa is another fantastic way to unwind. Book an appointment here for a massage or other body treatment. The experience is a very private and relaxing part of your day. Visit here to book.

Larger size families can also stay in a Treehouse Villa. These unique suites are set apart in the forested area of Saratoga Springs. You’ll have to walk a bit to get to your treehouse, but it’s well worth the quiet you seek. These villas have a full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a patio, and are elevated about 10 feet above the ground.

Of course, relaxing isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. In fact, if you desire to be part of the action – even if you still like peace and quiet at night – this resort probably isn’t for you. Saratoga is far away from the theme parks and only has Disney’s bus transportation as an option.

However, a happy medium can be reached at Saratoga. There are daily activities like an arcade, High Rock Spring Pool with waterslide, and tween/teen hangouts. There’s a splash area for young kids and restaurants with delicious dining options.

Saratoga Springs is currently undergoing a refurbishment, but we didn’t hear any peep of construction. There were a few small cranes next to the buildings, but the scene was still incredibly tranquil.

For us, the nighttime strolls were the most relaxing. We walked from Disney Springs to our room and found the entire experience quite nice. The warm colors and misting springs make a beautiful, picturesque experience. Though the hotel was near at capacity, we hardly saw other guests. As it appears, those who stay here also enjoy keeping Saratoga Springs tranquil.
