A review of the surprising WandaVision specialty churro found in Hollywood Land at the Buena Vista Street reopening.
Since the hugely successful launch of Marvel’s WandaVision limited series on Disney+, Disneyland has quietly celebrated this monumental occasion. After entering the limited Buena Vista Street reopening in Disney California Adventure, guests can enjoy a photo op and special snack themed themed after the show.
The WandaVision Specialty Churro is a churro covered in vanilla cream, chocolate sandwich cookie crumbles (Oreos), and pineapple flavored icing. We were a bit reluctant to try this snack because the mix of Oreo and pineapple icing didn’t sound like a tasty match. Boy, were we wrong! This churro is incredible! The cookie crumble was very light but the pineapple stood out and tasted just like Dole Whip. So, if you’re a fan of churros and Dole Whip, this combo is fantastic. It also comes cut in half, which is perfect for sharing.
You can find the delightful WandaVision Specialty Churro at the Hollywood Land churro cart in Disney California Adventure for a limited time. Just go down to the end of the street near Schmoozie’s to find it. The WandaVision photo opp is located to the right of Award Wieners near the entry way to Mickey’s PhilharMagic. Cast Members won’t take your photo but there is a spot that holds your photo to take a timed picture.
Specialty Churro Price: $6.25

It’s also important to note that we didn’t specifically see “WandaVision” on the name of the churro. However, we were explained that it was for the release. Also the black and white coloring of the churro really gives it away. We think that the pineapple flavor was a surprise, just like the secrets of the show!
For the time being, guests can visit Buena Vista Street without paid admission. This may change as Disney is planning a limited food festival for the spring. To get updates on the Disneyland Resort’s reopening, sign up for our free e-mail newsletter! You can also follow us on Instagram and Twitter.
