New updates for the Downtown Disney shopping district at the Disneyland Resort include mask policy refinements and reopened restaurants.
Downtown Disney has been open for about three weeks now and we’re already seeing Disneyland make some tweaks. Visiting guests are still required to undergo temperature checks, wear facial coverings, and maintain social distancing. However, some new details have emerged to improve the experience.
Disneyland recently updated its mask policies so that guests cannot wear facial coverings holes or mesh. This includes masks with valves. Additionally, Disney banned neck gaiters. These policies are implemented Resort-wide and we expect them for the theme parks once they reopen.
Popular dining spots have reopened! Tortilla Jo’s and Ballast Point are seating guests outdoor. Masks are not required for dining, but California regulations have Downtown Disney restaurants all seating guests outdoor.
