Disney just announced details for the Very Merriest After Hours 2021 party coming to the Magic Kingdom beginning this November.
The holidays kick off at the Magic Kingdom almost right after Halloween! Expect to see the park transform during the first week of November as Main Street, U.S.A. begins its annual festive makeover. For guests wanting even more holiday magic at the parks, Disney is debuting a new holiday event. Disney Very Merriest After Hours brings tons of Christmastime spirit to Magic Kingdom. This extra paid event will take place on select nights in November and December.
Attractions for the holiday After Hours include a Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, snow on Main Street, included Disney PhotoPass, and complimentary snacks. In addition, there will be holiday overlays of rides like Jungle Cruise and Monster’s Inc. Laugh Floor.
Attending guests can enter the parks early at 7pm to watch the new Disney Enchantment fireworks. The enter After Hours runs 4 hours and guests should expect to see tons of Disney characters around the park. Tickets go on sale August 20 for the general public and August 17 for guests staying at Disney-owned resort hotels. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members save $10 per ticket when purchased in advance.

December: 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21

The announcement of the Disney Very Merriest After Hours also means that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will not return this year. Similar to Halloween, Disney is offering an even more limited event with could be far fewer crowds than we’ve seen in previous years. For this reason, Disney upped the ticket prices quite a bit. Disney Very Merriest After Hours tickets cost $169 to $249 plus tax. The Very Merry party in 2019 had tickets starting at $99 each.
