The Matterhorn Bobsleds now have a reopening date at Disneyland scheduled just before the 4th of July weekend!
Disneyland’s Matterhorn Bobsleds will soon race down the mountain again! The iconic attraction hasn’t been available to guests since the parks reopened on April 30. Since then, visitors to Disneyland have wondered when these roller coasters will reopen again.
Currently, the Matterhorn Bobsleds are scheduled to reopen on July 2, as listed on Disneyland’s website. This comes just ahead of the July 4th weekend. However, dates can always change.

The Matterhorn is likely closed due to some much-needed refurbishment. In 2019, one of the mountain’s two coaster tracks stopped running after a piece of the “mountain” allegedly broke off. Many have speculated that the ride has needed a lot of TLC to get it running again for guests. Nevertheless, we’re excited to see the attraction back in action!
