What to do if you didn’t score a reservation to the Lamplight Lounge or Carthay Circle during A Touch of Disney.
This morning, Disneyland dropped reservations for Lamplight Lounge and Carthay Circle Alfresco Dining. These are the only two announced table serve dining spots for the entire event. Reservations are also very limited.
Since guests clamored for these spots, many were snatched up as soon as they dropped. So can you still dine if you don’t have a reservation? From what it appears, yes! Disneyland is making dining easier with reservations but guests apparently may also join a new walk-up queue.
According to Disneyland’s website, if you don’t have a reservation, you can add your party to a mobile walk-up list. This likely will be a QR code near the restaurant. Other dining spots in Downtown Disney use this same method for contact-free wait lists. Simply find the QR code (sometimes these are near the restaurant or close by) and scan to join the waiting list. Keep in mind, we are just guessing that it’ll be a QR code and could be another method of check-in. Whatever the method, Disney seems to have a plan for walk-ups.
A Touch of Disney runs for a limited time with dates in March and April. Disney announced its plans to open the theme parks in late April. To get updates on Disneyland’s opening (and helpful tips for visiting), sign up for our free e-mail newsletter! You can also follow us on Instagram and Twitter.
