The new WEB SLINGERS A Spider-Man Adventure will use a virtual queue when it opens in Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort.
The new Spider-Man ride looks amazing! Guests will use 3D glasses to shoot web from their wrists just like Spider-Man and wrangle up some runaway spider bots. In addition, guests of all ages and heights will be able to experience this attraction. Since demand is high and physical distancing is in place, Disneyland is deciding to use a virtual queue system to access the attraction. To start, there will no be a standard queue for WEB SLINGERS, so you must get a boarding pass using the Disneyland app.
Just like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland, WEB SLINGERS will use two different times to access the virtual queue. The first will be at 7 am and the second will be at 12 pm. Only guests who start their day (or spend the entire day) at Disney California Adventure can access the 7 am time slot. If you are starting your day at Disneyland and park hopping afterward, you can access the 12 pm time slot. The 7 am virtual queue can also be accessed at home but the 12 pm one requires guests to be scanned into the parks. Since park hopping starts at 1 pm, you can access the 12 pm from either Disneyland or Disney California Adventure.
Here’s How to Access the Disneyland Virtual Queues:
- Download the Disneyland app on your phone and make sure you link your tickets. If you don’t have a Disneyland account, you’ll need to create one before linking.
- On the app’s main page, scroll to “Disneyland Virtual Queue” where you’ll see a “Join Boarding Group” button.
- Right at 7 am (or 12 pm), tap “Join Boarding Group” – hurry because these go in seconds!
- You’ll select the guests in your party who are riding, and then tap JOIN.
- And that’s it! You should receive a boarding group number if you are successful. If you are not, you can try again at the 12 pm time slot.
Once you get a boarding pass for WEB SLINGERS, you will receive a boarding group number, and usually an estimated return time. However, you will get a pop up when it is your time to ride. Typically, you’re give about an hour or so to head to the attraction after you’re called.

In addition, Disneyland says that you can have a Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and a WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure boarding group on the same day. However, you cannot have both boarding passes at the same time. So, you will need to use your boarding group for one before getting the other. Of course, this means that you’ll need to get an early enough time for the first boarding group to guarantee that it’ll work.
