The new nighttime spectacular Harmonious now has an opening date at EPCOT as part of Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration!
The Walt Disney World Resort is planning some epic new experiences for its 50th anniversary. Dubbed “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” this 18-month long event will take place resort-wide at all four theme parks.
At Epcot, guests can not only ride the all-new Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure but they’ll also be able to see the colorful “Harmonious” lagoon show! Additionally, Disney describes Harmonious as “a grand, powerful tribute to the stories and songs that unite us, embracing new technical magic that incorporates pyrotechnics, choreographed moving fountains, lighting and media in new ways.” We can’t wait to see it come to life beginning October 1st!
In addition, guests at the Magic Kingdom can experience “Disney Enchantment” an all-new fireworks and projection show. See Cinderella Castle come to life with enhanced lighting and brilliant fireworks. Disney also promises “immersive projection” effects that run from Cinderella Castle all the way down Main Street, U.S.A.
