Disney’s Bake Lake Tower is one of the best resorts on property! Here are 5 reasons you should consider this stunning tower hotel.

The hotels near the Magic Kingdom always top our list. Not only are they incredibly close to the world-class theme park, but their amenities are wonderful. Each have stunning pools, amazing dining, and top-notch service. However, our recent stay in Disney’s Bay Lake Tower has moved this property toward the top of our list of the Magic Kingdom Resorts. Here are 5 reasons why you should consider Bay Lake for you next stay:

1. Home-Like Feel

The Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary is a Disney Vacation Club property that even non-members can book. This means, all guests staying here will have home-like amenities including in-room kitchens. This is great for anyone staying longer at the resort. Smaller studios will have kitchenettes with microwaves, a mini fridge, sink, and more. Whereas larger rooms will have full kitchens with much larger appliances.

2. Stunning Views

Nearly all of the rooms have amazing views of either water or the Magic Kingdom theme park. While there are standard rooms without a guaranteed view, our standard room had a view of Space Mountain from the balcony! Typically, the higher the room, the more of the property that you can see.

3. Walking Distance to the Magic Kingdom

Bay Lake Tower is the closest resort to the Magic Kingdom. A walk to the front gate is only about 10 minutes from the lobby. This is ideal for anyone who wants to easily make a midday break back at their hotel. In addition, walking also avoids any expected bus lines to the Magic Kingdom early in the morning.

4. Monorail to Epcot

The Bay Lake Tower has quick access to the monorail located in the Contemporary Resort. There’s a Sky Way bridge that connects the hotels from the 5th floor. From there, it’s just a quick walk to the monorail station. Keep in mind, that if the monorail to Epcot is closed, you’ll need to take a bus.
