Halloween is coming to the Magic Kingdom in 2020, despite the cancellation of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year.
Halloween fans, the time is coming to celebrate your favorite spooky season. Fall decorations, treats, and other surprises are headed to the Magic Kingdom this year starting in September. Disney also announced a “special Halloween-themed cavalcade with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and pals wearing their favorite Halloween costumes.” Other costumed characters will have spots around the park for socially distanced photos.
Even better, guests can celebrate Halloween from September 15 – October 31. For the first time, ALL guests can wear their costumes to the Magic Kingdom during typical daytime hours. While mask and costume guidelines still apply, it’s exciting to know that Disney will celebrate arguably their most fun holiday.
Additionally, guests can enjoy special Halloween treats and gifts this year. A Mickey Cinnamon Roll, Cinnamon Donuts, Hades Nachos, and Constance’s For Better or For Worse Wedding Cake are some of the dangerously delicious treats this year. The Cinnamon Donuts are even served in a Hitchhiking Ghost Novelty container!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party had dates scheduled in August through October this year. However, due to the phased reopening of Walt Disney World, the annual party was postponed until 2021. We’re just happy to see that Halloween fun will return to the iconic park.
Keep in mind, guests still need a ticket or annual pass and Disney park reservation to visit. Also, current park hours show that this is a daytime event for all dates. To get updates on Walt Disney World, sign up for our free e-mail newsletter! You can also follow us on Instagram and Twitter.
