Green Milk Recipe from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

We’ve created a copycat Green Milk recipe from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge that you can make at home! But this is a citrus-flavored, non-dairy drink is something kids and adults will love.

The Green Milk slushy is served at the Milk Stand in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. However, the odd beverage was first shown in The Last Jedi when Luke Skywalker drank it. While its citrus-milk flavor isn’t as popular as the berry-flavored Blue Milk, it still has many fans. The Disney theme park version appears to come from a mix, so we’ve had to create these ingredients ourselves from trial and error.

Green Milk Ingredients

Yield: 2 short glasses

  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • 1/2 cup banana, diced (about half a banana)
  • 1 1/2 cups of ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon cream of coconut
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • green food coloring
*optional for adults: 1/2 shot of tequila

Instructions

  1. Combine the almond milk, banana, ice, cream of coconut, honey, and lime juice, blend until smooth.
  2. Add in a 3-4 drops of green food coloring, stir.
  3. Pour into short glasses and serve

Notes

We didn’t make this version entirely like the one in Galaxy’s Edge. The original has a bit of a weird flavor because of the citrus and milk (like if you’ve ever had orange juice and milk together). For added authenticity, try tablespoon of orange juice or lemon juice to the mix – but if you don’t like it, don’t blame us!
