Where to find parking after the Downtown Disney reopening. The shopping district reopens on July 9, 2020 at the Disneyland Resort.
Disneyland is asking guests to park in the Simba parking lot which is near the Paradise Pier Hotel. The Simba lot is often used for guest overflow and isn’t too far of a walk to the hotel side of Downtown Disney.
To get to this Simba Parking Lot, put in the address for the Paradise Pier Hotel into your GPS. Keep in mind that signs may change the flow of traffic.
At this point, we aren’t sure how many entrances to Downtown Disney there will be. We certainly expect the security checkpoint to be near the Disneyland Hotel which doesn’t have a reopening date at this time. Furthermore, not all shops and restaurants will be open when Downtown Disney returns on July 9. However, we expect a list from Disney within in the first week of July.
