Does the Disneyland Resort require guests to mobile order their food or can they pay in person at the theme parks?
When the Disneyland Resort reopened its theme parks, it did so under strict state-mandated guidelines. This, of course, meant face coverings and social distancing. To keep parties apart, Disneyland highly recommended that guests use the Disneyland app to mobile order food.
But are guests required to pay with mobile order? For a while, that answer was yes. Popular locations like The Tropical Hideaway in Adventureland required guests to order their food in advance by using the Disneyland app. However, once California reopened on June 15, Disneyland dropped its mobile ordering requirement. While this feature is still available, guests can now use a standard line to order food at most places.
