Guests of Walt Disney World will soon see live shows and character meets reopening around the resort by the end of the year!
Character meets are returning to Walt Disney World, along with many popular live performances. However, guest greeting their favorite characters will see a modified experience. Disney states that “the environment is not right just yet for hugs and autographs” but that guests will still have one-on-one photo time with some of their favorites.
Here’s What’s Returning:
- Animal Kingdom Street Performers – Returning the week of October 11th.
- Yeehaw Bob – See the popular performer back in action starting October 14th at the River Roost Lounge at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside.
- Disney Movie Magic – Disney’s Hollywood Studios nighttime show returns on November 7th with a new Mulan sequence!
- Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular – Reopens December 19th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
- Disney Princesses in Princess Fairytale Hall – Coming soon to the Magic Kingdom!
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios Character Meets – Coming soon is Minnie Mouse at Red Carpet Dreams and the stars of Disney Junior in Animation Courtyard.
- Mickey Mouse backstage at Town Square Theater – The mouse will soon return in his new EARidescent outfit!

Several shows have already reopend at Magic Kingdom as part of the park’s 50th anniversary. Live performers on Main Street and even the “Let the Magic Begin” welcome show welcome guests in exciting ways. We highly recommend checking out the welcome show before the park opens at Magic Kingdom.
