Josh D’Amaro was very recently promoted from President of Disneyland to President of Walt Disney World back in September 2019. At Disneyland, Josh oversaw the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Project Stardust, an on-going effort to restore the park’s beautiful, character, and guest experience.
For many Cast Members, Josh is a great fit for the company. Josh is warm, personable, and a great team player. He’s taking the position previously held by Bob Chapek, who is now President of the Walt Disney Company.
Only time will tell how this shake up affects Disney theme parks. However, with Josh D’Amaro in charge, the future looks promising. To get updates on the Disney theme park reopening, sign up for our free e-mail newsletter! You can also follow us on Instagram and Twitter.
