Disneyland announced the reopening date of Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure for holiday shopping and dining.
Disney California Adventure will open its gates to guests visiting Downtown Disney this holiday season. Beginning Nov 19th, the Buena Vista Street portion of the park will begin hosting guests. However, some of the dining experiences will actually allow guests into nearby lands!
It’s also important to know that Downtown Disney will also begin charging $10 for parking. The district will also limit the capacity and a virtual reservation may be required. In the past, waiting times have been two or more hours on busier days for select experiences.
Holiday Dining
Carthay Circle Lounge will now host alfresco (outdoor) dining for guests. According to Disney, new light bites include “Carthay shrimp roll, harissa-roasted lamb, soy-glazed salmon, lemon-crusted fish of the day and an artisan cheese board.” Of course, cocktails are also available for those 21 and older. Reservations are expected to be available soon.
Award Weiners, Fiddler, Fifer, & Practical Cafe, and Smokejumpers Grill will all offer seasonal treats and returning favorites. Expect sweets, cocktails, and lunch options depending on the location. We also expect mobile ordering for Award Weiners and Smokejumpers Grill.
Holiday Shopping
Guests of Downtown Disney can shop on Buena Vista Street including Elisa & Co., Julias Katz & sons, and the Kingswell Camera Shop. The Backlot Premiere Shop will also have seasonal offerings. Each will have holiday decor and plenty of gifts to purchase.
