The new Disney California Adventure food festival, a Touch of Disney, invites guests back to the park for shopping, dining, and character greets!
The Disneyland Resort its opening Disney California Adventure for a very limited event. A Touch of Disney runs from March 18 – April 5, 2021. Guests will be able to explore the park, dine, and shop during the event. However, due to California restrictions, the rides will remain closed. Tickets go on sale on March 4, 2021 for event dates running Thursday through Monday.
Popular characters will also be available for photo ops. Disney posted this photo showing Lightning McQueen and Mater in Cars Land. This will be the first time that guests can step foot back into these areas of the park since they closed in March of last year. Unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads also ensure that guests can keep lasting memories from their visit!
Tickets are $75 and includes parking in the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, a $25 dining credit, and unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads. The dining credit cannot be used toward alcoholic beverages. However, Disney has promised that many favorite snacks from Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will be available at the event. Additionally, Lamplight Lounge and Carthay Circle Lounge will take reservations for attending guests. You must have a Touch of Disney ticket to visit these dining locations.

Disney California Adventure opened its Buena Vista Street location for shopping and dining back in November. Since then, limited experiences have been offered to guests without a fee. The Buena Vista Street experience closes March 15 and will become part of the A Touch of Disney festival. However, other parts of Downtown Disney will still be available for shopping and dining.
