Disney announced in an earnings call its plans for the Disneyland Resort theme parks opening and the debut of Avengers Campus.
In an earnings call today, Disney announced its plans to reopen the Disneyland Resort resort this spring. While a specific date was not given, CEO Bob Chepak confirmed the Resort’s plan for a late-April reopening. Disney is inviting back over 10,000 furloughed Cast Members.
With that said, expected the new Marvel-themed Avengers Campus later this year. While Disney did not give a timeline, we anticipated Avengers Campus in the summer or fall of 2021. However, Disney California Adventure reopens in full with rides alongside Disneyland.

The Disneyland park closed last March and is the only Disney resort in the world not to open its parks. California has been very strict with its rules and hasn’t allowed large theme parks to reopen. However, the state recently changed rules to allow Disneyland and other major theme parks to open on April 1st.
