Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is now open for guests to enjoy at the Walt Disney World Resort—with some new changes.
Walt Disney World guests were finally able to step back into one of the resort’s water parks. With weather in the 60s, it wasn’t exactly the best day for locals to enjoy the water. However, many were happy to see more entertainment options widely available.
Blizzard Beach opened with more relaxed mask guidelines than the major theme parks. For example, guests cannot wear their masks on the slides or in the pools. However, they must when relaxing in the sun as long as they are not eating or drinking.
Additionally, new mobile ordering options became available for Lottawata Lodge, AvaLunch and Warming Hut. To order, guests just need to log into their My Disney Experience app and have a payment method connected!
Disney World is heading into a very busy few weeks of Spring Break. All four theme parks have already hit the 35% capacity, which will feel busy, especially without FastPass+ reservations. Nonetheless, Disney is committed to maintaining social distancing. We highly recommend using mobile ordering to save time!
