The Disneyland Resort announced reopening updates for tickets, reservations, park hours, park hopping and more!
The Disneyland Resort theme parks are finally reopening with rides! Guests can experience limited crowds, plenty of their favorite attractions, and even park hopping! However, there are some major updates that could derail some of your plans. We’re coving the biggest updates—including what attractions will be open—and making the terms easy to understand.
Disneyland Tickets
Guests will need a ticket to enter the parks. These will go on sale April 15th for the general public. Prices have no been announced yet. To get updates when pricing is announced, sign up for our free e-mail newsletter!
Disneyland Reservations
Those with a ticket will also need a reservation. Your ticket will not count as a reservation. If you already have a Disneyland ticket purchased before or during park closures, you may use it for a reservation beginning April 12th (starting at 8am, possibly later). If you don’t have a ticket, you’ll need to buy one on April 15th and then book a reservation afterward. Guests can book reservations for their entire party as needed.
Disneyland Annual Passes
Disneyland Annual Pass sales have not been announced. APs are not expected to return with the parks when they reopen (but this is not confirmed). Your Disneyland Legacy AP does not count as a park ticket. You will need to buy a new park ticket on April 15th, unless Disneyland updates this.
Park Hopping and Hours
If guests have purchase a park hopper ticket, they must make a reservation to their starting park. After visiting their first park, guests can hop to the second park starting at 1PM. Furthermore, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure have limited hours of 9AM – 7PM daily.
