We explain what Disneyland and Disney California Adventures rides are likely to open with the parks in April 30th!
When California first announced the guidelines for theme parks reopening this spring, guests worried that some of their favorite rides may be off limits. California officials hinted at some indoor attractions not being available as part of the reopening guidelines. This would mean outdoor rides like Big Thunder Mountain, Matterhorn Bobsleds, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Radiator Springs Racers and more should be able to reopen with the parks. However, it now seems that most Disneyland rides can open with the parks!
So far, we have confirmation that the most popular ride-through attractions will open along with the parks. According to Disney, Peter Pan’s Flight, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and Haunted Mansion “will begin to open at both parks.”
Now, the words “begin to open” trouble us a little. Disney is careful about its word choices, so this could mean that some attractions are off limits until future notice. So far, Disneyland confirmed that parades and fireworks won’t open with the parks on April 30th. Could there be more?
