The Disneyland Resort just announced that Disney California Adventure will be reopening for holiday shopping and dining beginning this November.
The theme parks may not be allowed to open their rides, but Disneyland will soon allow guests into Disney California Adventure for holiday shopping and dining. Several updated experiences will take place in part of the park, mostly inside the entrance, Buena Vista Street.
The holiday event doesn’t have a set date yet, but will begin in November. It will act as an extension of Downtown Disney for guests to have added experiences. We don’t expect access to any other parts of the park. Disneyland will likely remain closed.
Holiday Shopping
Guests of Downtown Disney can shop on Buena Vista Street including Elisa & Co., Julias Katz & sons, and the Kingswell Camera Shop. The Backlot Premiere Shop will also have seasonal offerings. Each will have holiday decor and plenty of gifts to purchase.
Holiday Dining
Carthay Circle Lounge, Fiddler, Fifer, & Practical Cafe, and Smokejumpers Grill will all offer seasonal fare. Expect sweets, cocktails, and lunch options depending on the location. Mobile order will be used for Smokejumpers Grill (which is technically inside of Grizzly Peak, but close to Buena Vista Street).
