The Disneyland Dapper Day date has been pushed back to summer 2020. The original Disneyland Dapper Day event rescheduled from April 19 to June 21, 2020. However, the effects of COVID-19 could have the parks closed for much of the spring.
Dapper Day called for guests to “step out in style” as they head to the parks for the day. Typically presented in the spring, Dapper Day often shows off colorful outfits worn by guests experiencing the park. Think of it as your “Sunday best” but at Disneyland!
The unofficial event also hosts an expo during the same weekend. There is live music, fashion, and other fun for all ages. Expo tickets start at just $13 and the event is held at the Disneyland Hotel.
Dapper Day has grown significantly over the years. After getting its start in 2011, the event has grown to over 25,000 participants! The event also runs annually at the Walt Disney World Resort at EPCOT during the Flower & Garden Festival. Disney posts about the event though they do not run it themselves.
If you’ve never been, check out this official video on the event:
Dapper Day is incredibly popular, so if you’re planning a trip and don’t want the long lines, you may want to reschedule your stay. Hotel rooms can also become very sparse during the expo, especially at the Disneyland Hotel.
