New Details for the Mickey Shorts Theater!

The Mickey Shorts Theater opens along with Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway on March 4, 2020.

Guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios will soon have two new attractions based on Mickey Mouse. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway takes guests into the zany cartoon world Disney’s mascot. However, many guests are unfamiliar with the new style of Mickey cartoons. To fix this, Disney is opening the Mickey Shorts Theater.

During the show, guests get to see new cartoons starring Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy. A new clip called “Vacation Fun” also premieres! The style of animation is a bit edgy, especially for Disney. However, all clips are expected to be friendly for the entire family.

The Mickey Mouse Theater also has photo ops as guests exit the theater. You can recreate moments from the shorts while snapping photos here! The photo ops remind of us of the Pop Up Disney attraction at Disneyland, but included with park admission.

If you’re planning a trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on March 4 or later, and have not seen the new Mickey Mouse shorts, head over to the theater. If you have a FastPass+ for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, we recommend going to the theater before riding the new attraction.
