5 Avengers Campus Tips To Know Before Going

Avengers Campus is now open and it’s awesome – here are 5 important tips that you should know before visiting this land.

Now that Avengers Campus has opened at Disney California Adventure, there are some unexpected changes that guests should prepare for. While many of these could change in the coming months, here’s what you should know before going.

Avengers Campus Has a Line to Enter

To access the new land, you’ll either need to wait in line or get a virtual queue for the WEB Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure ride. Once you’ve experienced the attraction, you’re free to roam the land. However, if you leave, you cannot return without waiting in the standby line. If you’re planning for the standby line, we recommend getting to the park at least a couple of hours before opening.

WEB Slingers Virtual Queue Tips

The boarding groups for WEB Slingers go quickly! You can scan your tickets into more than one device and have different people in your party try for a group at the same time. Just use the Disneyland app and scan in the barcodes before the 7am drop time. Click here for more information about the virtual queue.

Shows Happen All Around You

The heroes are all out for Avengers Campus and greeting guests! See Black Widow and Captain America on the rooftops. You can also watch Spider-Man literally jump high into the air! In addition, Doctor Strange has his own show in his mystic arts Sanctum. Spidey flies about every hour or so, and Doctor Strange hosts shows throughout the day. To see Spider-Man fly, you’ll first hear him talking to guests near WEB Slingers. This will be your cue to watch him fly, as it happens about 5-10 minutes after he shows up on the building.

Mobile Ordering Is the Way to Go

If you want to dine in Avengers Campus, we highly recommend mobile ordering. In many cases, this is the only way that you’ll be able to enjoy snacks at Pym Test Kitchen and drinks at Pym Tasting Lab. However, Shawarma Palace may not have mobile order availability. Instead, you’ll be asked to line up for these delicious wraps once you are inside the land.

Mobile Ordering Does Not Guarantee Entry

If you’ve placed a mobile order for an Avengers Campus dining spot and are not already inside the land, you likely will not be allowed entry without waiting (or having a Spider-Man boarding group). It’s recommended that you place a mobile order once inside. In addition, mobile orders are rolled out throughout the day. For example, you may not be able to place a 4pm mobile order for Pym Test Kitchen until 2pm.
