Did you know that you can find fresh beignets in Walt Disney World? These delicious Mickey-shaped snacks are found in Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter.
Beignets are pillows of tasty fried dough that are dusted in powdered sugar. The snacks aren’t very sweet without the sugar, but together the flavor really pops! They are served fresh daily at the Scat Cat’s Club, a small bar-style venue located next to the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory quick service dining area.

Adults 21 and older can also try the Baton Rouge Beignets that are literally injected with booze. Choose between Baileys, Kahlua, RumChata, or Fireball. We recommend RumChata or Kahlua, but Fireball has the most alcohol content (and costs the same as the others).
We warn that the alcohol is VERY strong tasting when injected into the beignets. But you can control how much you put inside. If you buy two, you save about a dollar and can mix-match with two different flavors.

While Disneyland made this beignet recipe famous, Walt Disney World began serving these delicious fried snacks at Port Orleans. Originally formed in a classic “pillow” shape, Walt Disney World began serving them as Mickey-Shaped Beignets in 2018.

If you’re not staying at Port Orleans, you can freely dine here without being a resort guest. Either take a Disney bus transport from a theme park to the French Quarter or ride a boat from Disney Springs. Keep in mind that Port Orleans is split into two sections, Riverside and French Quarter – you want to arrive at the French Quarter to get these beignets.
