We have details for when Disney’s three All-Star Resorts may reopen at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
Updated: December 15, 2020
Disney’s All-Star Resorts are the destination for guests wishing to stay on property at the lowest rate. With guest rooms starting around $140/night (and even less expensive with seasonal discounts), it’s a steal for families. Each of the three hotels has its own theme: sports, music, and movies.
However, since the Walt Disney World Resort reopened in July 2020, the three All-Star Resort hotels have remained closed. Unfortunately this means that guests will have fewer options for value accommodations at Walt Disney World.
So, when will the three All-Star Resorts reopen for guests? For now, Disney is only planning on reopening All-Star Movies on February 9, 2021 NEW DATE: March 22, 2021. The other hotels don’t have an official reopening date. As CDC guidelines have park attendance capped at 25% capacity, hotels are also under tighter constrictions. Until more guests are flooding the theme parks, there is no reason to have all of Walt Disney World’s hotels open. So, we may see one or two of the All-Star Resorts reopen sometime in 2021, followed by the rest.
