When will the Disneyland Resort parking trams be back from the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals structures?
Parking at Disneyland has been weird. Guests have to walk from the parking structures to the gates—and back again at the end of the day. Additionally, guests who park in the Toy Story Lot are shuttled to the gates via local transport instead of Disneyland’s busses.
However, the walk from the structures to the gates has been the biggest pain point. We’ve measured it at over half a mile in distance! Even though guests usually walk far more than that during the day, it’s a lot all at once. That long walk can be even more difficult to navigate at the end of a tiresome day.
Thankfully, Disneyland has announced that the trams will return in early 2022! While Disney didn’t give a specific date, we could see them back as soon as January. If you don’t like the walk, we highly recommend parking at Toy Story. Even though there may be long lines at the end of the night for busses, it saves you the long trek.
