Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort changed its reopening date at Walt Disney World so when can guests expect to stay here?
Just as Disney planned to reopen all of its theme park resorts by the end of the year, an unexpected update occurred. Disney originally scheduled the All-Star Sports Resort to reopen on December 9, 2021. However, that date has been indefinitely pushed back.
We expect that Disney made this move due to lower crowd levels in 2021. With many hotel rooms not filling, it’s understandable that Walt Disney World may not see a need to add another to their list. However, All-Star Sports is the only resort that will not be open by the end of the year.

Early this month, All-Star Music reopened, and the Port Orleans Resorts finalize this year’s list as they reopen in October. Booking for these resort hotels has already begun. It’s unclear whether Disney will release additional discounts to fill available hotel rooms throughout 2021. However, we’re keeping an eye out for any deals that may be on the horizon.
