Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites is opening at the theme park resort on December 15th, 2020!
Originally set to open earlier this year, Universal’s Dockside Inn and Suites indefinitely pushed back its debut date. That is until recently when Universal announced that the second half of its endless Summer Resort would be open in time for the holiday season.
Dockside Inn and Suites will begin hosting guests on December 15, 2020. Booking is available now via Universal Orlando’s website. With amazing rates, including 2-bedroom suites starting at $120.00 per night, there’s nothing else like it Orlando!
The beach-style hotel is very similar to the previously opened Endless Summer Surfside Inn. However, some of the room stylings are a bit more aimed at the casual traveler, rather than families. Its also important to note that the 2-bedroom suites are actually just two rooms. Meaning, unlike other suites with connecting rooms, you’ll find beds in every space.

This tower hotel has more than 2,000 rooms and more than half of those are 2-bedroom suites. Universal’s Endless Summer Resort was designed to keep guests close to the parks at affordable rates. Universal wants to create a culture of staying “on-property” to show off its overall value. However, unlike the other Resort hotels, Endless Summer is not within walking distance of the theme parks. Instead, guests must bus or drive over to the Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Shuttles are included with your stay at Dockside Inn!
Dockside Inn’s other amenities include two pools (one coming in 2021), a fitness center, game room (coming in 2021), and a self-service laundry. We love the look of this resort-style hotel pool!
Pier 8 is the American dining experience located inside of the hotel. Guests can grab a casual bite to eat here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Universal also suggests that prices will be “reasonable” for families to dine here. Again, the overall appeal is an affordable family vacation on-site!
