Once again, Universal Orlando & Hollywood have delayed reopening due to COVID-19. According to a recent post, the theme parks won’t reopen at least before June 1, 2020.
Since closing in March, Universal has extended its theme park closures twice. The first date was March 31 and the second, April 19. However, it now seems that the parks will close indefinitely.
Following Disney’s footsteps, Universal is looking to next steps from healthy agencies and government officials. As the world tackles the spread of COVID-19, we may not have answers for months to come.

Universal Studios Hollywood, Orlando, Singapore, and Japan have all closed along with Disney parks. The CityWalk shopping districts in the United States have also closed due to the virus.
At this point, we anticipate hotels and parts of CityWalk to reopen once local governments deem it safe to do so. As hospitals face overcrowding, we may not see bigger changes until a treatment is proven to work. Yet, we remain hopeful that given time, we’ll be back to experiencing the fun of these wonderful places.
