The Disneyland Resort 2022 Lunar New Year Celebration is back for 2022—here’s what you cannot miss this year!
Celebrate the Lunar New Year in 2022 with a lineup of new and returning favorites! The festival takes place from January 21 through Feb. 13, 2022 only at Disney California Adventure. Guests can try new snacks, meet characters, and more!
First, we highly recommend snacking your way around this event! There are four different booths to try new seasonal bites. In addition, some of the surrounding restaurants also have snacks for this event. You can purchase snacks individually or snag a Sip and Savor pass for $43 (Magic Key holders save $3 per pass). Here’s a list of this year’s popular items:
- Mickey Purple Sweet Potato Macaron (Red Dragon Spice Traders booth)
- Garlic Noodles (Longevity Noodle Co. booth)
- Impossible Lion’s Head Meatballs (Red Dragon Spice Traders booth)
- Char Siu BBQ Pork Bao (Prosperity Bao & Buns booth)

In addition, guests can meet Raya from Raya and the Last Dragon. Find her in the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. You can also see characters like Tigger, the Three Little Pigs, Mickey and Minnie, and more in their costumes for the occasion! Throughout the day, catch Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession with many of these characters moving around the area.
