The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover is currently closed for refurbishment at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World.
Walt Disney World’s website now reflects the closure of this attraction. According to several sources, it appears that the PeopleMover may not reopen for some time.
We’ve heard several reports by Cast Members that parts of the ride’s track need replacing. While we’re not entirely sure how long this process will take, some comments on forums point to a couple of months. Meaning that the PeopleMover may not reopen until fall—or later.
