You step inside Disneyland, ready to begin your magical day – and then your stomach grumbles. It’s happened to us many times, so we completely understand the dilemma. Luckily, we’ve sampled around the park and now have a list of the best breakfast choices to satisfy your hunger.

The Breakfast Chimichanga
Location: Ship to Shore Marketplace in Frontierland
Price: $5.49
We LOVE this filling, deliciously greasy breakfast choice! Located next to Big Thunder Mountain and the Mark Twain Riverboat dock, this fried burrito is an all-in-one breakfast. Inside of the crunchy tortilla are scrambled eggs, cheese, and bacon. It’s under $6 and is also big enough to share!

Starbucks
Location: Market House on Main Street, U.S.A.
Price: Varies
You’re in the U.S., which means that there’s a Starbucks on every corner – even at Disneyland! Starbucks isn’t clearly labeled from afar but its inside of the Market House on Main Street (if you’re facing the castle, it’s on the right side about halfway down). Most Starbucks-brand coffees, teas, pastries, and breakfast items are sold here – just anticipate a line on busy days.

Captain Hook Character Dining - Disneyland Plaza Inn
Captain Hook Character Dining – Disneyland Plaza Inn

Character Breakfast Buffet
Location: Plaza Inn on Main Street, U.S.A.
Price: About $35 for adults
If you’re dying to meet some classic Disney characters and dine in an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, the Plaza Inn is the place to go at Disneyland. Breakfast typically includes scrambled eggs, cereal, omelets, bacon, French toast, biscuits and gravy, pastries, and those tasty Mickey Waffles! Reservations are recommended.

Disneyland Beignets at the Mint Julep Bar
Disneyland Beignets at the Mint Julep Bar

Beignets
Location: Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square
Price: Varies, usually around $5
Did you know that Disneyland has famous, authentic New Orleans beignets? And that they’re shaped like Mickey Mouse? Get these warm, delicious, powdered-sugar-covered treats at the Mint Julep Bar near the Haunted Mansion.

Dole Whip Donut Disneyland
Dole Whip Donut Disneyland

Gourmet Donuts
Location: Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe on Main Street, U.S.A.
Price: Varies, usually around $5
Disneyland’s gourmet donuts are so beautiful and tasty that they have a fan following. Flavors include: s’mores, pineapple dole whip, gingerbread, and more! The flavors also change seasonally, and sometimes even daily. In the past, guests grabbed these donuts at a cart near the castle, but they’ve since moved to Jolly Holiday. You’ll need to peek in Jolly Holiday to see what they are offering that day because flavors aren’t available on the app.

Golden Churro at Disneyland
Golden Churro at Disneyland (lemon flavored)

Churros
Location: Various Churro Carts in each land
Price: Varies, usually around $5
If beignets and donuts are for breakfast, then so are churros! Disneyland also offers seasonal churro flavors, so always check on those, too.

Best Breakfast drinks at Oga's Cantina
Left to right: The Bloody Rancor, Spiran Caf, and Blue Bantha.

Breakfast Drinks for Adults
Location: Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Price: $17-$18
Oga’s Cantina is the only place to get breakfast drinks with alcohol in Disneyland (adults 21 and older only). The lively Star Wars-themed is also so popular that a reservation is needed on most days. However, morning slots are usually more available than afternoon ones. While there are only a couple of morning drink options, both are tasty. Get a Bloody Rancor (Bloody Mary) or Spiran Caf (Coffee with Rum). Kids can have a Blue Bantha (berry-flavored smoothie with a cookie) or mixed tea blends. If you’re hungry, try the Mustafarian Roll, but avoid the mushy Rising Moons Overnight Oats.

Things to consider: Breakfast options in Disneyland are limited. Many dining spots stop selling breakfast before 11AM when they switch to lunch. However, you can still grab pastries and donuts at the Jolly Holiday on Main Street all day. Starbucks on Main Street also sells goodies daily.
