A new Star Wars Trading Post location will soon replace the former spot of the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney!
Star Wars fans will have plenty to celebrating when a much more expansive store based on the franchise opens in Downtown Disney! The new location replaces the building previously occupied by the Rainforest Cafe on the west end of the district. Details will include new props like Rey’s Speeder at the entrance!
Disney posted that the Trading Post “will feature merchandise straight from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge along with classic Star Wars and The Mandalorian, with apparel, accessories, souvenirs, creatures, droids and more.” This will also include lightsaber parts! Because of this, we expect the store to stick around even after the Disneyland Resort reopens in full. After all, there are ten new Star Wars series coming and not all of them will have merchandise that can fit into the theming of Batuu.

The Star Wars Trading Post is currently occupying the previous artsy WonderGround Gallery spot in Downtown Disney. For those who missed the gallery, it is returning once the Trading Post opens! If you can’t make it out to Downtown Disney any time soon, ShopDisney.com will also offer many of the items. These will include merchandise found in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and the Trading Post.
