Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance may have just opened this week, but we are incredibly excited for Disney’s next Star Wars attraction. As for the Star Wars Hotel opening date, Disney announced that it’s set for 2021!
The once-dubbed “Star Wars Hotel” isn’t really a hotel at all. Sure, you can stay there, but it’s more like a cruise ship on land. Your 2-night experience begins when you’re transported from Earth and into the Galactic Starcruiser. From there, you’ll live out your Star Wars story. Expect characters, entertainment, and even danger!
Guests will also have the chance to explore Batuu—or Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge—as part of their experience. There’s still no word if you’ll be able to go beyond Batuu or if there will be missions involved. However, Disney is set on the experience being totally immersive. Even when on Batuu, the story will “will continue and evolve.”
