The highly anticipated Space 220 Restaurant will open in Epcot in September 2021, the Walt Disney World Resort confirms.
The Walt Disney World Resort is readying for an epic 18-month celebration for its 50th anniversary. Beginning October 1, guests will have the change to experience new attractions like nighttime shows and even a new ride, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. However, those looking for an out-of-this-world dining experience are also in luck!
The new Space 220 restaurant in Epcot is finally opening! After what feels like two years of delays, this Centauri space station-themed dining experience is debuting in September. Guests will board an elevator that takes them into a space station with stunning views of Earth. Of course, all of this is simulated with impressively large screens and special effects.
Space 220 gets its name from being “220 miles” above the Earth. Guests will see satellites, the moon, and other surprises float into view. We can only hope that the food will be just as amazing as the theming!
