We stopped by Disney’s Riviera Resort on opening day to give you a first-look at this gorgeous new resort hotel.
Disney’s Riviera Resort is the 15th Disney Vacation Club property. However, all guests can book a room here. DVC properties have kitchens and homier vibes that can save you money on dining.
A shimmering lobby welcomes guests on the first day. From here, you can check in, buy a souvenir, or grab a bite to eat.
Stunning artwork lines most of the walls. Some are inspired by Disney classics and others are of Walt Disney on his travels to the Riviera region.
The Riviera has a gorgeous pool with a water slide and S’il Vous Play, a Fantasia-themed water area for kids. Adults can enjoy the calmer Beau Soleil Pool.
While many of Disney’s resort hotels are low to the ground, the Riviera stands tall. A tower hotel provides sweeping views of lakes, the gondolas, and the not-too-distance Caribbean Beach Resort.
At Disney’s Riviera, how you spend your time is up to you. However, the relaxing, European environment invites all guests to sit back and enjoy their vacation.
